Following an investment of $35M, the Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group will expand its restaurants into Vietnam this year.
The upmarket hospitality operator is behind such concepts as SushiSamba Dubai, Aura Skypool and the new Attiko. Now, after having taken Dubai by storm with their concepts, the group is focussing on overseas development. The newly-launched Attiko will open in Vietnam this year, as well as Azure Beach.
Antonio Gonzalez, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We remain committed to growth within the UAE and wider GCC region. However, we also want to take our team’s talent and ambition further afield and apply all the know-how we have developed over the past decade and export the Dubai standards of hospitality to a wider stage.”
Sunset’s foray into Asia comes as a result of a $35M investment from Goldman Sachs. The money is intended to supercharge growth, with plans for the Dubai-based company to span across more than a dozen countries in the future.
