The online surfwear retailer is set to start stocking General Pants’ 11 private label brands after forming a collaboration with the casualwear brand.
Moving forward, the e-commerce brand expects to work with a number of new and existing brands to continue broadening its offering on the platform during the months ahead. According to Richard Facioni, Executive Chairman of Alquemie Group, the plans form part of a broader intention to grow SurfStitch’s consumer value proposition through the marketplace.
Facioni, commented: “Recently we’ve seen macro trends in retail accelerate, including retailers and brands collaborating and actively working together to grow their respective businesses.”
Meanwhile, Sacha Laing, CEO of General Pants Co., anticipated that SurfStitch will play a key role in the accelerated growth strategy of the business.
The 11 brands that will be available via SurfStitch include denim labels Insight, Neon Hart, Arvust and Alice in the Eve, which cover men’s and women’s clothing and accessories.
