After launching a store in Tampa it means the company has entered its fifth new market of the year.
The fast-growing healthy food chain has opened its first restaurant in Tampa, Florida and it is positioned in the city’s Heights District near Tampa Riverwalk. Quickly following this launch will be two additional sites in Hyde Park Village and the Edge District, which are both on course to open in 2023.
The new Sweetgreen site measures 2,860sq ft and features a variety of indoor seating options as well as an outdoor patio that has enough space for 34 people. In addition, there is also a large community table that highlights specialty art done by Ari Robison, a local artist.
“With Tampa being one of the fastest growing cities in the US, Sweetgreen is a convenient option that reflects the active and forward-thinking mind-set of the community,” said Sweetgreen Co-Founder and Chief Concept Officer Nicolas Jammet.
