The steakhouse, which was founded in 2017, currently has a presence in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
In an industry dominated by franchising as a means of effective expansion, casual steakhouse Swiss Butter has chosen to reject the franchising model.
Despite the resistance to franchising, Massaad says Swiss Butter is looking to surpass 100 stores within the next five years. It currently operates in multiple cities across different countries including in the United Arab Emirates where there are three stores, Saudi Arabia (three in Riyadh and one in Jeddah), and five outlets in Lebanon.
