Taco Bell to Debut in Indonesia & Malaysia

The US fast food chain will open in the city of Cyberjaya in Malaysia and Jakarta in Indonesia.

The new Indonesia store is located in South Jakarta in Senopati which is a trendy area for younger customers and the ideal market for a Taco Bell. Hendra Yuniarto, PT Fast Food Indonesia, GM of Marketing commented: “The Indonesian consumer always craves new and unique experiences and by utilising our expertise in the fast-food retail segment, we believe that Taco Bell will be a huge success.”

In Malaysia, Taco Bell will be partnering with Disruptive Concepts Restaurant Group to roll out their staple dishes including tacos, burritos and other classic Mexican foods. As of yet there is no fixed location or opening date for the new Malaysia store.

“We are thrilled to finally bring our world-famous crunchy tacos to our Malaysian fans, and look forward to beginning of our journey with our incredible partners at Disruptive Concepts Restaurant Group,” the company said in a statement on their website.

The new Malaysia store will be the brand’s first flagship in the Asia-Pacific region.
