The Mexican food chain is expanding its presence in the New South Wales region, opening its fifth store at Green Square in Sydney.
The store will be launched within Crown Group’s Infinity Square retail precinct and is set to open in May 2021, offering a dedicated delivery and pickup entrance. The quick service chain already has 20 stores located across the New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria region, and has previously expressed their intention to reach 60 stores across Australia and New Zealand by 2024.
Taco Bell’s full year report stated: “The focus for Taco Bell in New Zealand and Australia remains on investing to build brand presence with more than ten stores expected to open by December 2021.
The significance of the brand’s sales will continue to grow as additional stores are opened, however, overall the financial impact of the brand on the group will remain slight for the coming year.”
