The cosmetics company is rolling out its sustainably-designed ‘workshop’ store concept in the country.
The store’s format celebrates the brand’s activist roots with the aim of creating an environment that goes beyond the traditional store model, by inspiring and equipping customers to become ‘changemakers’ according to the brand.
The workshops stores intend to inspire customer to make small changes that can benefit the community and the planet. The stores feature refill stations, and the brand’s Wellness body care range, both as a nod to sustainability.
The workshop is expanding to four locations; with one already open at Oshawa Centre, in Oshawa. The next three will open in Market Mall in Calgary, Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby and West Edmonton Mall, in Edmonton.
A statement from the company said: “At four new locations across Canada, customers can moisturise their hands, learn about sustainability and take action – whether that be singing a petition or engaging with the store’s local community efforts – all at the same time.”
