YouTube sensations The Sidemen are set to open the first highstreet location for their fried chicken brand, ‘Sides’, in London.
After the success of their locations across London, a Sides restaurant is set to have its own space in the heart of Dalston, signing a 15/20 year lease with the establishment due to open to the public on 26 October.
The 2,000sq ft space is set to be the first of its kind in the UK, serving up all of the classic Sides menu items that have been available in their Boxpark and Harrow locations. The new opening marks an exciting new chapter after the use of dark kitchens showed that there was huge demand for Sides across the country through food delivery apps, while the Dalston location looks to offer a slice of creator culture with a greater sense of community.
The Dalston branch of sides will seat approximately 40 covers, as well as creating 30 jobs for the local area. Dalston is a thriving part of East London that has become synonymous with the capital’s food scene. Sides want to become a mainstay in Dalston, offering freshly fried chicken in a variety of flavours and seven house sauces that offer something different to their competitors.
