Previously named The Time New York Hotel, the hotel is primed to reopen in the heart of New York City’s glittering Theater District.
The Time New York by Dream Hotel Group is a hidden gem and serves as the preferred haunt for many entertainers, celebrities, artists and local New Yorkers alike. Located at 224 West 49th Street, the revitalised property designed by award-winning Rockwell Group offers travellers an urban lifestyle destination with a refined edge in the heart of Manhattan’s Theater District, just steps from Times Square. Guests will discover the hotel’s contemporary environment inspired by modern art and the concept of time. In addition to 193 design-driven guest rooms and suites, including a 2,500sq ft Penthouse, The Time New York boasts three popular food and beverage venues including its ground-level Italian restaurant, Serafina, an elegant cocktail bar and lounge on the mezzanine level, LeGrande, and grab-and-go Goldfinch Coffee Shop on the ground level.
“As Dream Hotel Group’s first boutique hotel, The Time first opened its doors on West 49th Street in 1999 and still holds a special place in our hearts today, now over 20 years later,” said Dream Hotel Group CEO Jay Stein. Anticipating a successful comeback after the trials and tribulations Covid-19 brought to the hotel industry, Stein added: “The announcement to reopen The Time marks a major turning point for our company, as well as the city of New York. Joining Dream Midtown and Dream Downtown, we will soon have three of Dream Hotel Group’s iconic lifestyle hotels reopen alongside our great city and less than two months prior to Broadway’s grand return.”
