The virtual reality video game experience is making a Chicago Western Suburbs expansion to Fox Valley Mall in Aurora.
Headquartered outside the Louis Joliet Mall in Joliet, Illinois, Thingamajiggz offers an expansive choice of single- and multi-player experiences that range from action to adventure to travel. Their most popular games include Arizona Sunshine, Half Life Alyx, and Super Hot VR. Cost of playing time is $30.48 for half an hour and $52.50 for an hour.
“It’s entertainment taken to a whole new level that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the experience, and that’s what attracted us to Fox Valley Mall,” said Thingamajiggz Owner David Jordan. “This shopping centre has a vision for its future, and entertainment is a significant part of that vision.”
Owned by Centennial, Fox Valley Mall is anchored by Macy’s and J.C. Penney and also contains a 50,000sq ft Round 1 Bowling & Amusement centre.
