This latest Vendo Park in Poland is the thirty-second one to be launched by Trei Real Estate, the international developer and asset manager for residential and retail real estate.
Launched in Mielec, a small town of just 61,000 residents, the new Vendo Park has a lettable area of around 7,000sq m and is occupied by 12 retailers and a supermarket.
“Retail parks are the fastest-growing format on the Polish retail real estate market because they meet the day-to-day needs of consumers. Shoppers don’t have far to go to find a store, a certain brand or a product they are looking for. Vendo Parks give them the chance to get their shopping done quickly, conveniently and close to home. That is what consumers expect these days,” said Pepijn Morshuis, the CEO of Trei Real Estate.
“In Mielec, we recognised a potential to expand our traditional retail spectrum. There are still so many small and mid-size towns in Poland that have no modern outlets for retailers selling consumer staples. The fact that the entire complex is already fully occupied reflects the strong tenant-side demand. We are therefore planning to further expand the retail premises in Mielec, and to bring in additional retailers,” said Jacek Wesolowski, the Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland.
