Van Cleef & Arpels will open two new manufacturing sites in Drôme and Puy-de-Dôme, with the prospect of creating several hundred local jobs.
The two workshops, one located near
Romans-sur-Isère and the other near Thiers, will each be able to “accommodate
at least 250 employees, in easily accessible sites in Lyon, Paris and Geneva –
where the house is already established – in order to create strong synergies
between the different places of production”, explains the region in a press
release published on Wednesday.
With the two new sites, “in all, more than 600 direct jobs will be created”,
assured Van Cleef & Arpels on Thursday.
