Tyra Banks’ beauty theme park ModelLand to open at Macerich’s Santa Monica Place in Santa Monica
America’s Next Top Model‘s Tyra Banks announced the theme park in 2019. ModelLand will feature interactive entertainment, as well as curated retail, dining and special events.
ModelLand includes a personalised digital look-book, an immersive theatre where guests are part of the show, and access to shop the ModelLand experiential closets.
In addition, there will be professional photography moments designed by Tyra, posing tips and tricks, and custom lighting that compliments skin tone and features.
“I believe all shapes AND all sizes AND all ages AND all shades deserve to feel beautiful, powerful, and be the fantasy versions of themselves,” said Banks.
“ModelLand is not just an attraction,” she added. “It’s a place full of story that challenges what ‘attractive’ means.”
“When you step into ModelLand, you enter a fantastical world where we celebrate YOUR uniqueness while we help you master your angles and up your photo game.
“YOU are ModelLand’s star. Our cameras are waiting for you.”
