The Danish furniture retailer will now take its total in the UK to 24 when its Leeds store opens its doors later this month.
Set to be unveiled on 26 August, the new shop will be situated at South Retail Park on Tulip Street and it will help the local community by generating 15 jobs.
JYSK said the launch will be a major opening for the company and will be publicised on billboards throughout the city in the coming weeks. In addition, Capital Yorkshire listeners will be treated to an online giveaway to win vouchers to spend at the store.
Jenny Johnston, JYSK Sales and Marketing Manager, UK and Ireland, said: “Leeds is one of the top five largest cities in the UK so to put our JYSK mark on the map here is a really exciting milestone for us. We already have a strong customer base in Yorkshire so it feels a real accomplishment that we can go one step further and bring our products right into the metropolis of the region, in Leeds.”
