Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, inaugurated the first phase of the Umm Al Qawain Creek Waterfront Development as part of the emirate’s celebrations of the UAE’s 52nd Union Day.
The development includes retail shops, cafés and restaurants, 2 km-walkway, marina promenades, yacht club, and an open theatre.
The project will constitute a vital and distinctive addition and an attractive destination for tourists in the emirate, in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the strategic plan of Umm Al Qawain’s government and the sustainable blue economy strategy to achieve sustainable development in the emirate and provide modern infrastructure to build a prosperous economic future for the emirate.
