Union Coop Opens 21st Dubai Store

The new store is located in Al Barsha, spanning an area of over 50,000sq ft and built at the cost of AED 45M.

The new venue features multiple spaces including a basement, ground floor, and a mezzanine with the Union Coop Hypermarket located on the first floor, 10 shops housed on the ground floor and ample parking spaces across the basement and ground floor.

Chairman of Union Coop, H.E. Majid Rahma Al Shamsi, commented: “The hypermarket strives to offer distinguished services to consumers and build an inclusive, sustainable, and economic environment that will enable customers to benefit from its resources and products held to international standards.”

The new branch was inaugurated by Chairman of Union Coop, H.E. Majid Rahma Al Shamsi, alongside H.E. Khalid Humaid Bin Diban Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of Union Coop.

Union Coop’s main intentions are to establish hypermarkets and manage co-operatives within the UAE. The brand is the largest consumer co-operative in the UAE, operating 21 branches and three malls – Al Barsha Mall, Etihad Mall and Al Warqa City Mall. The brand has also established and launched two grocery chains: Mini Coop and Coop.
