Victoria’s Secret Lands in Vietnam

Lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret has launched its first brick-and-mortar store in Vietnam, marking its debut in the country.

The store, located in Hanoi’s Lotte Westlake shopping centre, is in collaboration with distributor MAP Fashion.

Last month, Victoria’s Secret posted a net loss of $2.5M for the first quarter, setting the company “off on the wrong foot” at the start of the year, according to an analyst.

The brand currently has 1,350 retail stores in approximately 70 countries. Launched in 1995, MAP Fashion is the distributor of several brands including Zara, Bershka, Boss and Calvin Klein in Southeast Asia.
