According to General Manager, Nicolas Chammaa, the resort will become one of the first dining destinations outside of Dubai and Abu Dhabi within the Emirate.
Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain has four dining venues, including Stage2, Origins, the Pool and SOCIAL. Nicholas Chammaa, who comes from a food focused background and has previously been an F&B service manager for Shangri-La in Oman, intends to bring more local brands into the property rather than internationally-recognised names. He comments: “I want that authenticity in our food, I want that story to come through.”
Chammaa continues: “Where I want this property to go – it needs unique offerings where people will come from across the UAE just for our food. We do not want to just go for the traditional goods and, we want to always stay à la carte to help maintain freshness. The menus are more flexible this way, we can chance it more quickly and offer more up-to-date choices.”
