Set within the Metaverse platform Zepeto, the experience is proving particularly popular among Gen Z, with four-fifths of its users in this bracket.
Within this online space is the pop-up store Bulgari Sunset in Jeju, along with a café that is based on the Italian luxury brand’s real-life retail store at the same location. In the setting, users are treated to a virtual café-theme where they can indulge in desserts and beverages, as well as the brand’s 2022 Resort collection. Blackpink member Lisa, Bulgari’s global ambassador hosted an event via VR through which her avatar could interact with fans.
People who log onto the virtual world will also be able to complete quests in order to receive the Resort Collection items. These include Bulgari’s Serpenti and Divas’ Dream line, as well as signature brand accessories.
