The US movie star will open 15 movie-themed restaurants around the country in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Mark Wahlberg along with his brother’s chef Paul and actor Donnie will unveil their first Wahlburgers venue in Circular Quay in Sydney. The chain has around 50 outlets across the US, which include a food truck, which is open across 19 states. There’s also one venue each in Canada, Germany and London, however the business has commented that their London site will not be reopening.
The movie-themed restaurants have menus that are inspired by Paul Wahlberg’s favourite childhood foods, which have been reinvented with a chef’s twist. There’s everything from burgers to salads and fries and adult shakes all available.
The brothers pride themselves on bringing a unique concept with their restaurant. Wahlberg commented: “What we are really focusing on now is creating exclusive content just for the customers. So people will see movie trailers early and all that stuff.”
