Walmart Chile continues to expand its business in the country and is now boosting its presence in La Calera, Valparaiso region, with the inauguration of the first store of its Lider retail chain, generating employment for 174 people.
“We are aware of the importance of this inauguration for the residents of La Calera, as well as for Walmart Chile, since opening a new supply location in the city poses an extraordinary challenge to strive to provide low prices on a daily basis. The fact that a new store joins other of our formats speaks of our unalterable commitment to the neighbours, but also to the city,” said Nicolás Undurraga, Manager of the Lider format.
Walmart data confirms that the brand new establishment displays 16,000 products from different categories, distributed in 4,000sq m of sales room.
