The Colombian brand Wanitta has launched itself into the international market and opened the doors of its first store in the US, with a location in the Wynwood area of Miami.
This expansion represents an important milestone in the company’s history and also a growth opportunity for other Colombian companies that dream of reaching the US. Founded 18 years ago as a family business, Wanitta has always placed a strong emphasis on economic, social and environmental sustainability.
“The brand leaves a positive mark on every aspect of its operation, from customer experience to the well-being of its collaborators, promotes decent work and carries out awareness campaigns to promote generosity and service to others, becoming a benchmark for ethical fashion and a brand that is an instrument of love and service,” reported Mónica Agudelo, Co-Founder and Growth Director of the brand.
In Colombia, Wanitta generates approximately 70 direct jobs and more than 200 indirect jobs. The projection in the US is to exceed these figures, offering a significant job opportunity for the Latin community in the country. This launch represents a dream and a project with which 17 Colombian brands become known internationally.
“We have been working on this expansion for more than two years, which will be very successful, given that we project the commercialization of around 200,000 Colombian products in the North American market,” said Camilo Agudelo, Co-Founder and Director of Operations of Wanitta.
