The direct-to-consumer online home furnishings retailer has opened its first brick-and-mortar store location under its AllModern banner, at MarketStreet Lynnfield, Massachusetts.
In December 2021, Wayfair announced that it planned to open physical stores across all of its banners, starting this year with two AllModern locations – the second is due to open later this year at Legacy Place in Dedham, Massachusetts. One Joss & Main store at Burlington Mall, Massachusetts is also expected to open this year.
The new 10,000sq ft AllModern store blends physical and digital retail with shoppers able to interact with furniture and experts in person and able to gain instantaneous access to an endless aisle of product options that are curated for each customer. Alongside the design studio that offers free services, the store features free delivery and assembly and installation services.
