WeMENA supports local businesses amidst Covid-19

Dubai-based start-up WeMENA, an online B2B marketplace for wholesalers, is supporting local businesses to keep up with regional demand for essential PPE (personal protective equipment) and sanitisation products amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among its 50,000-strong product line, over 1,000 products are being added every week. Recent additions on WeMENA include catering supplies, electronics and stationery, besides PPE and sanitisation products.

“In this especially difficult time for everybody, our site, which launched at the beginning of 2020, is proving to be a cost-effective way to help companies stay afloat during this unusual time. We are working relentlessly to keep maintaining access to stock levels by working closely with our partners, our prices are kept fair and ensuring key industries have access to PPE, hand sanitiser and disinfection and sterilisation products, for example,” said Pali Banwait, Co-Founder, WeMENA.

“We’re working around the clock with manufacturers and distributors to get essentials into the hands of businesses so they can continue business – and continue to bring in revenue, while ensuring their staff feel safe and protected,” he added.
