Westfield London Partner with Timberland

The pair has announced a three-year sustainable partnership with the launch of a Nature Reserve at the West London shopping destination.

A pioneering space, the Nature Reserve has been designed to feature a range of diverse horticultural areas and forms part of Westfield’s ongoing commitment to the local area.

The Nature Reserve hosts a variety of different areas including a wild flower meadow, insect hotels, beehive, fruit trees, vegetable beds and a pond area. Located behind the Southern Terrace at Westfield London, it will showcase different methods for growing fruits and vegetables to help visitors learn about sustainable food growing.

It is a natural partnership thanks to Timberland’s environmental stewardship and longstanding heritage in the outdoors. The brand leads in sustainability practices and eco-innovation with planting trees and a passion for nature sitting at the heart of everything they do. This September, Timberland announced a goal for its products to have a net positive impact on nature by 2030 — giving back more than it takes.  Timberland’s stores are all built with nature in mind, including the Flagship Westfield store which is made with natural materials.

The brand has long wanted to create a green space in London to address key environmental issues including loss of biodiversity, poor air quality and climate change and the newly launched Nature Reserve at Westfield London is the perfect fit.
