Tihama Advertising has agreed a deal with the General Authority of Civil Aviation to lease two units at the airport in Jeddah.
According to a Saudi stock exchange filing, Tihama Education, a unit of Tihama Advertising will operate two outlets under the WH Smith brand franchise, covering both arrivals and departures. Tihama already has an existing relationship and partnership with WH Smith and operates at Riyadh Airport and in the UAE.
WH Smith was founded in 1792, and is one of the oldest names on the British high street. The brand has become one of the world’s leading travel retailers and currently operates 1,100 stores in 31 countries.
