The park which was formally known as ‘Khalidiyah Ladies Park’ has undergone a radical transformation following the direction of developers, Imkan.
Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, Sheika Fatima Park will occupy an area of 46,000sq m and will include a range of sporting activities, retail sites, event spaces, dining experiences and more. According to a recently-released video by Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities & Transport, work on the new park is now complete.
The official website for the park displays that a range of activities and facilities will be available at Sheika Fatima when it opens, these will include skateboard half-pipes; music stages; F&B options; cutting-edge retail concepts; and co-working spaces.
Despite confirming that work on the park is now complete, Imkan has commented that the park is not yet open and there is not yet an exact date when the park will open.
