Located at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the interactive museum is located in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
The Chengdu Giant Panda Museum covers a total area of 7,179sq m with an exhibition space of 4,342sq m. The facility includes exhibitions, collections and information about panda conservation. There are also interactive experiences and immersive tours along with a 3D cinema and a dome cinema.
The exhibitions and experiences will allow visitors to learn about giant pandas in pre-historic times and the evolution of giant pandas. Seven exhibits including ‘Tracing Origins’, ‘Among the Pandas’, ‘Discovery Trail’, ‘Human Impact’, ‘Helping Hands’, ‘Taking Actions’ and ‘Join the Future’ are all available to share information and educate guests.
Guests can also visit the archaeology and science research laboratories along with the Habitat Exploration Centre, Scientific Discovery Centre and the Endangered Species Rescue Centre.
