Wrangler Expands India Footprint

The global denim brand Wrangler – through its exclusive licensee Ace Turtle – is opening six stores in India.

The stores will be in Ujjain, Goa, Indore, Bilaspur, Katihar and Bareilly. This brings the brand’s total exclusive outlets in India to 58, with more than 80 per cent of them situated outside tier 1 cities. Each store will span 1,000sq ft, situated within shopping malls and high-street locations.

Nitin Chhabra, CEO of Ace Turtle, said insights from its online sales have revealed growth in demand from the six cities and influenced the company’s decision to open the exclusive brand outlets.

“Our premium Wrangler collections are achieving impressive sell-through rates, which speaks volumes about Wrangler’s lasting appeal and our customers’ growing desire for a more sophisticated shopping experience,” said Chhabra. “Our new exclusive brand outlets reflect our dedication to bringing Wrangler closer to our customers in high-demand regions, combining the ease of online shopping with the distinct, immersive experience of physical retail stores.”

Ace Turtle plans to open 60 new Wrangler retail stores across India next year.
