Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company with approximately 9,100 hotels across more than 95 countries, has announced the upcoming opening of the upscale 178-room Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel.
Located in the heart of France’s Yvelines region and minutes from the world-renowned Palace of Versailles, the property was once owned by the Oberkampf-Mallet family and has been fully renovated by 2BDM Architects, one of France’s most prominent architectural studios specialising in preserving historic buildings, monuments and gardens.
Expected to open in December 2023, Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel will offer 14ha of beautiful gardens surrounding the estate, two restaurants, a bar with a stunning terrace and a state-of-the-art conference centre with 18 meeting rooms and a 550sq m Baccarat ballroom, making it the largest in the region. Guests of the hotel will also have access to the Spa du Moncel by Sothys, including a heated indoor and outdoor pool, a sensory shower, snow cave, sauna, fitness room and seven treatment rooms. The luxurious hotel is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Paris-Orly Airport and a short walk from the Jouy-en-Josas Train Station. Guests will feel worlds away from the centre of Paris, which can be reached in 30 minutes by train.
Jackie Brown, Regional Director – North & West Europe, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, commented: “Dolce by Wyndham Versailles – Domaine du Montcel is a fantastic representation of our Dolce by Wyndham brand, which is recognised as a leader in the groups and meetings space as well as for its superior cuisine and thoughtful amenities.
