The move cements the group’s presence as the largest international hotel company by number of properties in the country.
The new additions in Istanbul, Ankara, Kahramanmaraş, Milas, Kuşadası and Adıyaman, will offer a variety of accommodation options for every type of traveller and join Wyndham’s portfolio of Days Hotel, Ramada Encore and Ramada by Wyndham hotels in Turkey, along with two of the properties as recently announced, in collaboration with CLC World Resorts & Hotels under Ramada Residences and Wyndham Residences.
Upon opening the new properties, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will reach 90 hotels in Turkey. The expansion plan is set to continue with five additional openings expected in early 2022 alone.
Dimitris Manikis, President, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA said: “Turkey is our fifth largest market globally and continues to be a key destination for our growth development here at Wyndham. Our wide range of accommodation offerings provide opportunities for every type of traveller to explore all that the country has to offer, and the addition of these new properties will further enhance guests’ accommodation options in the region. We look forward to continuing our strong growth trajectory here in Turkey and making travel possible or all in such a unique and beautiful destination.”
