Wynn Al Marjan Island Reaches 55 Per Cent Completion

The project has reached 55 per cent completion of structural concrete, with the main resort tower’s concrete structure extending to the 26th floor and walls reaching the 29th floor.

Wynn Resorts has reported progress on its Wynn Al Marjan Island development in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, which is located 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport (DXB).

The construction teams are advancing at a rate of one floor per week, with plans to top off in December 2025. The resort tower has grown by 44 metres in the past 100 days.

The project’s design and development are overseen by Wynn Design and Development (WDD), which employs 90 architects, designers and creative staff. The construction site currently hosts 9,100 team members and processes more than 100 concrete trucks daily.

The development will house 1,542 rooms and suites, with 1,121 room structures (73 per cent) completed. Fit-out work has commenced in 820 rooms, including walls, floors, ceilings and service installations. Elevator and escalator installation began this month.

The resort will feature 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, alongside a nightclub with “Only At Wynn” DJs and a beach club on the Arabian Gulf. The facility will include a poolscape covering 3.6ha, a 15,000sq m shopping area, a spa and a 7,500sq m events centre with a theatre.

Wynn Resorts is developing the project with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, positioning it to become the MENA region’s first integrated gaming resort.
