The UAE’s first off-road and adventure park is set to open in an old quarry in the Mleiha desert, in Sharjah this week.
Set in an area of nearly one million square metres, the new adventure park and off-roading location is set to open to the public with a grand opening event taking place this Friday February 5 – Saturday February 6.
Adventure fans and thrill seekers are invited to bring their own bikes along to tackle the sweeping quarry and rocky terrain. The park consists of a custom built 20km obstacle track and trails, hikes and biking courses, so there really is something for everyone.
Daniel Birkhofer, Managing Partner at XQuarry, commented: “There is no other such adventure venue in the UAE or even the region. It’s the first of its kind. XQuarry is also not a theme park – we offer an unpolished but honest and authentic experience. The opening is just the starting point; XQuarry will develop and evolve over the next few years.”
