Leather goods label Yu Mei has opened a new boutique in Newmarket, its third store in the area.
Situated at 8 Kent Street, Yu Mei’s new home was designed by Auckland-based interior design firm Knight Associates. Yu Mei Newmarket is styled on a retail lounge concept, housing a full selection of leather goods, including its newest Autumn Winter 21 Collection.
Spanning 130sqm, the store is designed with a warm neutral colour tone, using wood as its main material. The store’s facade features a large glass window where the newest items are displayed. The brand name is placed vertically in golden cooper, standing out from the white facade.
The boutique also houses a lounge and kitchen area for customers to relax.
