Zalando Opens New Cologne Outlet

The digital-first retail is moving its outlet from the Quincy shopping centre in Cologne to Schildergasse.

In the city of Cologne, customers currently have the option to shop at the 1,000sq m Zalando outlet store in the Quincy shopping centre at Breite Street. The brand has confirmed that they are moving their outlet store to Schildergasse, although no opening date has yet been confirmed.

Zalando is growing steadily and with it, the brand’s need for their Zalando outlet concept store. The items available in the stores were previously available on the Zalando online platform and have been moved to the outlet due to outliving their desired seasons, or presenting minor defects such as missing buttons etc.

There are a number of Zalando outlets operating currently in Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne, Hamburg, Konstanz, Leipzig, Münster, Stuttgart, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Mannheim and Ulm. The company is also planning outlets in Munich and Nuremberg which will open to customers by the end of 2022.
