Zuma Makes Saudi Debut

Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District houses Zuma, blending contemporary Japanese dining with signature design elements.

Azumi Group has expanded Zuma to Riyadh in partnership with MJS Holding. The restaurant can be found in the King Abdullah Financial District and spans two floors, featuring interactive sushi and robata counters. The venue also includes a bar area and a DJ counter, three private dining rooms and event spaces that cater to small or large gatherings.

Zuma’s Co-Founder Rainer Becker, said: “The opening of Zuma Riyadh is a proud moment for us. With each new location, we bring not just exceptional food but also a complete experience that reflects the local culture while maintaining our DNA. Riyadh holds incredible promise, we are proud to welcome guests to this vibrant restaurant and we look forward to making Zuma a highlight of Riyadh’s culinary scene.”

The design of Zuma Riyadh reflects the brand’s established use of natural elements. The space incorporates stone and wood, providing a setting that aligns with the chain’s signature look. This aesthetic is consistent with Zuma’s global venues, which aim to balance function and timeless design in every city they enter.

Zuma Riyadh’s menu highlights familiar items that have contributed to the brand’s reputation. It also includes dishes tailored for the Saudi market.
